What is Domain Authority?
Domain Authority (DA) is a search engine ranking score
developed by Moz that can predict the ranking of a website on search engine
results pages (SERPs). The score of a domain authority ranges from one to 100,
the highest scores corresponding to a higher ranking ability.
The Domain Authority is calculated by evaluating several
factors, including the binding of the root domains and the total number of
links, in a single DA score. This score can be used when comparing websites or
tracking the "strength of ranking" of a website over time. Domain
authority is not a metric used by Google to determine search rankings and has
no effect on the SERPs.

web.
How is Domain Authority Scored?
We evaluate the domain authority on a logarithmic scale of 100 points. It is therefore much easier to increase your score from 20 to 30 than to increase from 70 to 80.

In general, sites with a large number of High Quality External Links (such as Wikipedia or Google.com) are at the top of the domain
authority scale, while small businesses and sites Web with fewer links Starters
can have a much lower DA score. New websites always start with a score of 1 for
the domain authority.
Since domain authority is supposed to be a predictor of a
site's ability to rank, obtaining a very high DA score should not be its sole
objective. Examine the DA scores for the sites with which you compete directly
in the SERPs and aim for a higher score than your competitors. It is best to
use it as a comparative measure (rather than an absolute and specific score)
when searching for search results and determining which sites may have more
powerful / important link profiles than others. Since this is a comparative
tool, there is not necessarily an "Authority" or "bad"
score for the domain authority.
